Johnny continues to show us his progress on #comebackSZN, spending last night out with the crew from www.barstoolsports.com. However, this was not a typical Johnny Manziel night out. Johnny was pictured without a drink. Johnny simply doesn't have time for hangovers as he continues his aggressive morning workout and training schedule.

Johnny has announced he will volunteer for NFL drug testing to prove to teams that he is clean. In fact, Johnny is absolutely amped about drug testing. The days of this are over: Instead, Johnny will be using fresh dolla dolla bills to do a lot more of this:
We completely agree with IndeOnline's assesment. This was definitely last week's top quote, edging out contenders President Trump and Steve Bannon. "I refuse to let my entire life of sports from the age of 4 be squandered by partying. I just got sick of it. One day I didn't like what I saw in the mirror and I realized I could really help people in the position I'm in."
However, IndeOnline's praise of Johnny didn't stop there. Johnny also claimed the 7th spot on the list with his advice to President Trump. "Even I know to stay away from the notification section on Twitter." Congrats to Johnny on the recognition for these fantastic quotes. #comebackSZN is now in full swing. Johnny continues to show his commitment to #comebackSZN, continuing his streak of rising before 7am. Keep it up, Johnny. Gains are made in the AM.
Johnny is focused on gaining weight again, crushing an "Express Meal Bar" and a protein shake: This is a good development as Johnny was looking a bit gaunt a few months ago: However, with Johnny's new eating habits and few more "Express Meal Bars" Johnny will soon be back to this: We can't wait. Keep it up Johnny. #comebackSZN
In another sign of continued #comebackSZN progress, Johnny shows he has been keeping up with current events. Last week, Apple sued Qualcomm for $1 billion and accused it of charging unfair royalties for technology. Johnny was driving by a Qualcomm the other day, and posted this: Not only was the post clever and funny, it is proof that the days of blacked out Johnny are gone. Instead we now have the reformed Johnny reading the Wall Street Journal in the morning before ripping it in the gym and on the practice field.
Bleacher Report just wrote an article "The Eras That Can't Seem to End," referencing Tim Tebow and Johnny together. Bleacher Report is behind the times on this one.
First, comparing Johnny and Tim is a complete insult. The narrative goes that Johnny and Tim both won the Heisman and then blew up in the NFL so they are basically the same. However, they are really only the same in one way: they both won the Heisman. First, this guy and this guy are just not the same. Johnny clearly has way more chill. Secondly, at 29 years old, Tim has faded out and his NFL career is definitively over (not that he won't be a great analyst or fun to watch playing minor league baseball). Johnny on the other hand is a ripe 24 years old and is about to "wreck this league." He has now been sober for 23 days, rising before 7am, and is back on the football field as we reported yesterday. There really is no stopping Johnny on his rise to greatness. Third, Bleacher Report needs to fix their title "The Eras That Can't Seem to End." I feel bad for Bleacher Report if they are getting tired of the Johnny Manziel era. It's time to look at the facts. The Era of Jonathan Manziel is just beginning, and it will be glorious. The day is finally here and some said it would never happen. Johnny is back on the football field. Next stop New York Jets. #comebackSZN
"I think he's got a chance to still be a good player"
We'll amend his statement: "We think he's got a chance to still be the GOAT" http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/college-sports/texasamaggies/2017/01/25/nfl-analyst-says-johnny-manziel-still-chance-good-football-player |
